Professional statement

Madelynne Broyles is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Thornton, Colorado. Madelynne has been in private practice for over ten years and has enjoyed working with a variety of individuals, but currently works one on one with adults. She is comfortable working in person or through telehealth, as needed. She is focused on ensuring that her clients see real progress: her style is interactive and she positions clients as the experts on where they are now, and where they want to go.

Madelynne’s approach is rooted in the belief that our mind and body are connected and can either work for us or against us. Her background in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), along with her training in Somatic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy have led her to believe that we store memory in the majority of our body. Madelynne believes that with the right tools and skills that trauma, anxiety and depression can be managed and lifestyle improved. She believes in long term change.

Madelynne has long been a consultant for EMDR and feels like this modality can change lives. She has seen thousands of clients improve their relationships, their insight, and there ability to be who they are meant to be. She often has clients ask, “Why didn’t I meet you sooner? Why did I have to wait so long to feel better?” Her response is usually that timing is everything and we are where we are now because we are ready for it. Don’t put off your healing and recovery. Madelynne is ready now to help you meet your full potential and enjoy the peace and happiness you deserve.

Message to clients

Hi! My in-person appointments are held at my office, located just off of I-25 and Thornton Parkway in Thornton, Colorado. I only see clients in office on Wednesdays. I also see clients online for tele-therapy.

I want clients to be able to increase awareness of their body and emotional connections. We do this together through different skills. Once stabile, we use EMDR to decrease negative body sensations and improve motivation and behavior, changing negative beliefs about self and encouraging long-term healing. This in turn makes long term changes in mood and emotional response to stress, change and conflict.

I believe that each of my clients has value and a right to feel good. My goal is to help you get there and stay there.
