Professional statement

Mallory works with adults experiencing a range of difficulties such as depression, anxiety or life-change challenges. She believes that healing does not take place in a vacuum and therapy should always acknowledge the interconnection of people with systems and the importance of relationships.

Her approach centers the psyche as a mixture of parts that are all here to support and protect us, no matter how difficult they appear. Her clinical experience thus far has focused on past and ongoing trauma, family dynamics, substance use, and sex/relationships.

While Mallory is based in upstate New York, her practice is open to clients anywhere in the state through telehealth services.

Message to clients

Welcome! I am a licensed therapist in upstate New York supporting people in healing wounds, undoing loneliness, and creating beautiful lives that feel right for them. Some of the themes we work on most are self-worth, sex and relationships, processing traumatic experiences, inter-generational trauma, and stress in its various forms.

I specialize in therapies that honor the wisdom of our emotions and their homes in our bodies. I love joining clients in uncovering how thoughts and patterns can be here to protect or nurture us in some way, and in forming new ways to work with them. Some of what we do might involve locating embodied memory or mapping patterns through the family of origin.

Deciding to start a new phase of therapy is a big deal! Whether you have been in therapy for years or this is your first try - I am so glad you are taking the steps to find support and continue healing. I hope I can be of service to you, and you feel welcome to reach out to me through any of my platforms. Currently accepting new clients.
