Message to clients

I believe that relationships are at the core of therapy. I seek to build a strong, trusting relationship with you so that we can delve into the problems that are getting in the way of your vision for your life. I operate from a non-judgmental, compassionate, client-centered perspective where I treat you as the expert on your situation and seek to understand you and your challenges in the context of your experiences, values, and desires. I work collaboratively with you to connect you with your strengths and values in order to address the issues you're struggling with.

I consider it a privilege to be in conversation about the messy parts of life with you and to conjointly create a shame-free space where you can do this work. I hold hope that change is possible and that you can move closer to your vision for your life, even when the problems you're up against seem overwhelming.
