Professional statement

Dr. Marchita Hill joins the Telespera team with an impressive 26 years' of clinical counseling experience. She is currently licensed in Kansas and Missouri, holding an MS in Marriage & Family therapy and a PhD in Scriptural Psychology. She describes herself as an eclectic therapist with roots in client-centered, humanistic, family systems and peppered with psychodynamic theory. She believes that one theory or technique doesn't fit all clients. She has worked in broad variety of settings, inpatient and outpatient, nonprofit, community centers, and even serving our national heroes in the U.S. Army. Dr. Hill has experience working with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, ADHD, PTSD, complex trauma, eating disorders, and substance abuse. She connects well with people from various backgrounds, life experiences, preferences, and orientations. We are beyond thrilled to welcome her to the team!

She has openings for virtual sessions with clients in Kansas, Missouri, Vermont, and Florida (Virginia coming soon!). Virtual 30-minute consultations are also available if you'd like to meet her first before making your decision.
