Professional statement

Marcus is an AMFT passionate about helping couples build strong, healthy relationships. He understands that relationships can be challenging and requires effort and dedication to keep them thriving. Marcus approaches his work with couples with a deep respect for each couple's unique struggles. He creates a safe and supportive environment where couples can openly discuss complex topics without fear of judgment.

Marcus emphasizes the importance of communication, empathy, and understanding in his work with couples. He helps his clients develop the skills to communicate effectively, express their emotions, and build deeper connections. He also works to help couples identify and address any underlying issues that may be causing tension in their relationship.

Above all, Marcus cares deeply about his clients and their relationships. He understands that each couple is unique and tailors his approach to meet each client's specific needs. Whether a couple is looking to strengthen their bond or make a difficult decision about the future of their relationship, Marcus is committed to walking every step of the way with his clients through the healing process.

Marcus is also dedicated to helping men overcome the unique challenges they face in life. He understands that men are often told to suppress their emotions and that this can lead to feelings of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Marcus approaches to therapy with a deep understanding that underlying issues often cause the symptoms we struggle with.

One of the tools that Marcus uses in his work with men is EMDR therapy. Marcus is also able to offer EMDR therapy online, which makes it more accessible for his clients. He believes that EMDR therapy can help men process their emotions in a safe and supportive environment and can help them develop the skills they need to lead happier, healthier lives.

Marcus currently offers online sessions.

Message to clients

Hey there, I'm Marcus! I love helping people navigate life's challenges and achieve their goals. You'll usually find me playing my PS5 and raiding with my clan when I'm not in the office. Yeah, I'm a bit of a nerd, but I also love meeting new people and hearing their life stories. Whether you're struggling with difficulties in your relationships, feeling down or anxious, or trying to work through a painful experience, I'm here to help.

One of the things I love most about being a therapist is getting to know my clients on a personal level. I know that it's not easy to make the decision to go to therapy, and I know it can be scary. There's nothing wrong with needing help sometimes. In fact, it takes a lot of strength to ask for help, and I think it's a big deal you are taking this step. I'll be there to listen, laugh, and cry with you along the way.

As your therapist, I’m going to do everything I can to make you feel comfortable and at ease so that you can be real about what you are thinking and feeling while also offering insight and helping you challenge old beliefs and thoughts. We'll work together to get you feeling better and to achieve your goals. So, if you're looking for a therapist who can offer a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions, look no further.
