Professional statement

Hello and I am looking forward to working together! I am currently accepting new clients for both in person and teletherapy appointments. I specialize in working with adults and teens with a variety of concerns ranging from anxiety, depression, and trauma, to relationship issues, addiction issues, LGBTQ+ spectrum and life transitions and challenges. I believe that a quality therapeutic relationship is built on trust and authenticity. Therapy is about change and gaining skills, knowledge and confidence in a safe and supportive environment. I work hard with my clients and support them to make the changes they want to make.

I am certified in Reality Therapy and have had extensive training in trauma-informed approached including CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness interventions. I utilize Motivational Interviewing to help clients understand where they are currently, and what their goals for the future might be. I understand how issues from our past and our present can sometimes make it hard to live the lives we want to live. I work to make therapy comfortable and supportive so we can tackle life's challenges together.

Message to clients

Therapy can be scary and sometimes down-right challenging work, but I believe that it can also be fun and very meaningful. I want my clients to find true value in our work together and I believe that the first start is for me to create an authentic and safe environment in which they can grow and make life-changing decisions. I want the absolute best for my clients and for them to achieve goals that are important to them. I do my best to make therapy understandable and transparent, I love answering questions about the therapy process. Let's do great work together!
