Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, LPC-S Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, LCDCHello and I am looking forward to working together! I am currently accepting new clients for both in person and teletherapy appointments. I specialize in working with adults and teens with a variety of concerns ranging from anxiety, depression, and trauma, to relationship issues, addiction issues, LGBTQ+ spectrum and life transitions and challenges. I believe that a quality therapeutic relationship is built on trust and authenticity. Therapy is about change and gaining skills, knowledge and confidence in a safe and supportive environment. I work hard with my clients and support them to make the changes they want to make.
I am certified in Reality Therapy and have had extensive training in trauma-informed approached including CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness interventions. I utilize Motivational Interviewing to help clients understand where they are currently, and what their goals for the future might be. I understand how issues from our past and our present can sometimes make it hard to live the lives we want to live. I work to make therapy comfortable and supportive so we can tackle life's challenges together.
