Mark Lang of New Era Therapy Now is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pompano Beach, FL, who works with individuals across all walks of life. Mark is particularly helpful to clients facing stressful transitions, like retirement, moving to a new city, job loss, or breakup. He is also particularly sensitive to the psychological impact The Covid-19 Pandemic has had on all of us. He helps individuals, families and couples dealing with grief and loss, depression, anxiety and social anxiety in this Post Covid World.
Mark's approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the most evidence-based approach that focuses on helping clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. He works to help clients to reframe their cognitive distortions so effective stress management and problem-solving will result.
Mark specializes in assisting clients to increase their understanding of past dysfunctional family of origin issues and how it impacts their life in the here and now. His style of therapy is very much solution focused. He specializes in helping all his clients meet their goals and objectives utilizing short term therapy methodologies.
Mark's first priority in starting with a new client is ensuring that they feel safe, heard, and like an equal partner in the therapeutic process. As a seasoned provider, he offers telehealth therapy services in Florida as well as in person therapy services in Pompano Beach.
