Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFTMary Ann Rege is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Santa Monica, CA. Mary Ann works with clients who feel overwhelmed in their daily lives, whether that’s because of family stressors, work stressors, or a constant pressure to “have it all.” These stresses often result in anxiety, fears, and addictions. Mary Ann teaches clients how to manage their stress levels and gives them a compassionate space to share their thoughts and feelings.
Mary Ann specializes in mindfulness therapy practices. This includes the evidence-based Mindfulness Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention modalities. By slowing down thoughts and actions, Mary Ann teaches clients how to look objectively at their lives and practice relaxation skills in times of heightened emotion. She provides a welcoming space for clients to speak about how their work lives or family lives leave them feeling exhausted, drained, or burnt out. She then gives clients the skills they need to practice effective self-care, set boundaries, communicate clearly, and more.
Mary Ann earned her Master’s degree from Antioch University. She has over ten years of experience supporting clients. Mary Ann continued her education in how to best help LGBTQ populations on their mental health journeys. She brings encouragement and expertise to all client relationships.
