Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW Master of Social Work, MSW Master of Arts, MAShe/Her/Hers
Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW Master of Social Work, MSW Master of Arts, MAMary works with individual adult clients across all life stages and dimensions. Her approach is eclectic, intuitive and practical, tailored to each client’s unique needs and drawing from various therapeutic modalities, including mindfulness, trauma-informed, psychodynamic and strengths-based perspectives. She is available for remote sessions.
As a client-centered practitioner, Mary does not impose theoretical constructs; she collaborates with clients to discover approaches that resonate with them, listening deeply and offering insights with warmth and compassion.
Mary “gets” her clients’ everyday struggles. She found her calling as a psychotherapist at the intersection between vocation, (what we do), and our sense of self (who we are) over more than 25 years working as a leadership coach and senior executive in organizational development and operations for corporations and nonprofits. She ranged across a wide variety of industries, including health care, professional services, tech, consumer products, luxury goods, and higher education, building teams and collaborating with people at all levels.
Mary understands how our troubles, while painful, offer us opportunities to uncover and heal past traumas that affect our perceptions and behaviors in the present. In this way, transforming our suffering becomes a spiritual act — one that can bring both insight and freedom.
