Professional statement

Meagan Geurts is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Golden, CO. She also offers virtual sessions to clients in Wisconsin. She loves working with clients who might be stuck in old patterns, are seeking a better understanding of themselves and their emotions, and/or are curious about exploring and deepening their spirituality. As a somatic psychotherapist, Meagan's therapy focuses both on the mind and body, with the goal of restoring the mind-body connection for comprehensive healing. Meagan is trained in Somatic Experiencing - a body focused trauma resolution modality that brings resolution to clients through a safe therapeutic relationship, builds capacity for emotional regulation, and allows the body the space it needs to unwind and restore safety.

Meagan has a particular interest in working with other moms as they navigate the awesome and challenging experience of being a parent. Helping moms to find balance, navigate difficult moments, increase capacity for themselves and their families is a passion and a joy.

With nearly 20 years of experience working in the mental health field, Meagan does not believe that there is a destination on this journey of life and growth. She is always learning and bringing new understandings to her practice. Meagan orients towards joy in her own life and will encourage clients to find the joy within their own lives.
