Megan is a licensed Mental Health Counselor working in New York and New Jersey with young adults and adults. Megan believes that self-knowledge is the key to self-acceptance and self-love. That’s why Megan specializes in supporting individuals, especially queer individuals, who are looking to better understand themselves and their strengths, or going through transitions. Megan makes space for her clients to celebrate themselves for who they are, fostering self-esteem and self-worth.
Megan holds an advanced certificate from NYU in LGBTQIA Health, Education, and Social Services. She operates through a body and sex-positive framework, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques. She is a psychodynamic therapist that incorporates mindfulness practices, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
With Megan, clients master the art of decreasing negative thought patterns and moving through difficult emotions.
