Dr. Megan Connell is a board-certified psychologist who sees clients for remote teletherapy sessions in all states that are part of the PsyPact. She works with individuals ages 14 and up. She specializes in anxiety, trauma, autism in women and girls, life transitions and depression. She also has a military background and years of working with military service-members and their families.
Dr. Connell’s approach to therapy is solution-focused. She strives to make sessions both fun and educational for her clients. She helps her clients define their goals for therapy then will work with them to achieve their goals, hopefully within 12 therapy sessions.
Additionally, Dr. Connell has a unique expertise in working with clients who are part of the gaming community. She is both a member of the community herself, and has done extensive work with girls, geeks, and games, including developing the use of Dungeons & Dragons for group therapy settings. Though she enjoys working with the geek and gaming community she sees clients from all backgrounds and identities.
Dr. Connell completed her undergraduate training at Berklee College of Music focusing her studies in music therapy.
