Megan Delp is a therapist in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Texas, and works with adults individually and as couples. Many of Meg’s clients come in to address trauma, anxiety, and burnout. She is particularly passionate about serving fellow millennials and those experiencing life transitions. She also has advanced training in the area of PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and burnout.
Meg is trained in utilizing holistic approaches, trauma therapy (EMDR), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and client-focused therapy, in which we develop a full understanding of how patterns of behavior and thinking were developed and bring intentionality into finding new ways of living. In session, Meg focuses on using grounding techniques and mindfulness to manage daily stress, as well as building a full and sustainable life. This approach supports clients to discover a life that feels meaningful and intentional.
Meg's style is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. When clients first start therapy, they will learn about what made the client who they are today, as well as what supports they already have in their lives that help them get through the day.
She has worked at a local non-profit counseling center and private practice serving mostly adults throughout her internship and supervised hours up through getting licensed. Outside of her private practice, she loves spending time with her husband and two dogs, Olive and Walnut. She also enjoys being in nature and exploring her new hometown of Austin.
