Professional statement

Megan has an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Chester University and holds a National Certified Counselor certification. She has worked with individuals of nearly all ages with various presenting concerns throughout her career, but has the most experience with anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. Megan draws primarily from CBT, solution-focused, and the multiple DBT skills. She first seeks to validate and develop an understanding of clients and their challenges. This then allows her to develop solutions collaboratively with clients that are aligned with clients' values and beliefs and to ultimately empower clients to resolve challenges independently. Megan believes the strength of the therapeutic relationship in and of itself can facilitate healing.

Message to clients

I focus on my clients, helping them feel seen and heard. My primary audience is young adult females, covering common challenges when transitioning into adulthood. Young adult females deserve to be treated with respect, empowering those who may be fearful of the future, to discover their purpose and set goals. I encourage curiosity with my clients to explore their identities and find their place in the world. A therapeutic relationship built on trust lays the foundation for healing and growth.
