Meghan Morley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Cognitive Pursuits, working virtually with individuals located in Pennsylvania. She specializes in working with with those 14 years of age and older struggling with addiction, trauma, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. She also works with people striving to improve their mental performance through a therapeutic approach to meet their professional, athletic, and academic goals.
Meghan takes a cognitive approach to therapy. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients gain an understanding of how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected in order to make impactful behavioral changes, better cope with emotional distress, and think in a more helpful way. She also uses trauma-focused techniques and creates a safe, empathetic space for clients to process difficult emotions, make meaning and heal from past experiences.
Meghan earned her Master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and has extensive continuing education in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, among other interventions. She has eight years of experience working with individuals with opioid use disorder in Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson University and affiliated hospitals and is an expert in Medication Assisted Treatment. Meghan is also an Affiliate Professor in the Thomas Jefferson University, Master's in Community & Trauma Counseling program.
At Cognitive Pursuits, all sessions are held virtually, so you can be anywhere convenient for you in the state of Pennsylvania. Additionally secure scheduling, messaging, and document sharing are available through one easy to use platform. Weekend appointments are available upon request.
