Melissa Jardin is a licensed marriage and family therapist with an office in Union Square, New York. She works with individuals and couples, specializing in issues around grief, loss of a parent, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, sexuality, infidelity, self-esteem and relationship dissatisfaction. She also has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, as well as people in, or considering, poly relationships.
Melissa is resource-focused and is dedicated to making her clients feel empowered by presenting them with their choices and encouraging their autonomy. In session, she is open-minded and supportive. She utilizes eclectic treatment methods, including Gestalt Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and Somatic Psychotherapy.
Melissa’s style is active, playful, and humorous. She believes all of her clients deserve to find happiness and fulfillment. She received her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University. Her office is located near the 14 Street - Union Sq. subway station.
