Michele’s style is warm, engaging and she’s not afraid to leverage humor to aid in the healing process. Michele received her MSW from The University of Michigan. Michele’s work experience includes six years in the non-profit sector doing both therapeutic and case management work. Through this work Michele has extensive experience working with women, working professionals, older adults aging in place, individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence/ intimate partner violence, and individuals experiencing chronic illnesses. Outside of work, Michele enjoys spending time in nature, scenic train rides, traveling around the country, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts. Michele’s practice works with adults virtually. Michele is available to see client’s during the early mornings and evenings.

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Mood disorders - Clinical depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders that cause disturbances in the client's mood, causing mood swings, restless sleep, and/or elevated mood

Upon request, you may receive a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you have out of network benefits.
