Dr. Michelle Crimins is a clinical psychologist with offices in Union Square and Rye, New York. She specializes in helping individuals navigate important relationships in their lives, especially during times of stress and transition.
Dr Crimins has been in private practice for 13 years helping adults through periods of anxiety, depression, insecurity and loneliness. Part of her expertise also includes working with young adults as they solidify their identities, strengthen relationships, and become financially independent. Her extensive background in child/adolescent development informs this work and also uniquely positions her to offer guidance to moms and dads in all stages of parenthood.
Dr. Crimins combines a variety of treatment modalities to best meet the needs of her clients, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, relational therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Her integrated approach is individualized for each client, as are the goals and pace of therapy. She believes that growth and change are fostered by a safe, nonjudgmental space met by mutual curiosity.
