Professional statement

I am a NYS licensed psychologist with over ten years of experience working with individuals of varying ages and life experiences. Many of my clients experience difficulty finding joy or feeling connected to others after experiencing a sudden life change or trauma. Many of my clients are also working professionals who struggle with managing stress in their everyday lives. I am particularly sensitive to clients dealing with symptoms of anxiety, trauma, depression and moments of transition such as breakups, work-related issues and family conflicts. I have specialized training and expertise in trauma.

I currently work part-time at Yale University conducting process groups. And I have trained at hospitals such as Columbia University, University of Southern California (USC)'s CHLA, and Montefiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Message to clients

Are you struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, or trauma? Are relationship difficulties, self-doubt or a stressful job some of the reasons that prevent you from living a fulfilling life? Are you having difficulty concentrating, feeling overwhelmed or struggle to communicate your needs to loved ones? Do you feel like you keep repeating the same patterns no matter how much you try? Maybe you just want a change in your life but don’t know where to begin. In our daily life, we can find ourselves feeling stuck. Together we can explore the things that cause you stress in order to live a more meaningful life.

I utilize insight-oriented, skill-based, and evidence-based approaches that are tailored to you. I have specialized training working with individuals who have experienced trauma or extremely stressful situations. I also provide immigration psychological evaluations and I write support letters for gender-affirming procedures.

Let’s help you regain the sense of joy in your life. You can message me for a free 15-minute phone consultation so I can answer any of your questions. Even if it doesn’t appear that way, there is hope when you take the first step toward healing.
