Mycael Parks is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, offering counseling to children ages 10 and up, preteens, teens, and adults. Mycael's experience includes life transitions, self-esteem, coping mechanisms, impulse control, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, school related issues and trauma.
Mycael's goal is to partner with you and help you process your thoughts/experiences in a safe space. Sessions with this counselor will provide you with safe space to be yourself and to gain insight. Feeling safe and comfortable will help you be able to gain clarity and explore your thoughts and feelings while working towards your goals. She believes you all must partner together to ensure you gain the benefits you desire from counseling. There is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. Mycael will tailor sessions to fit your specific needs, concerns and goals. She looks forward to supporting you or your child on the journey towards mental health and wellness.
Mycael recieved her M.S. in Counseling from Oklahoma State University. She has worked within the education system for over 15 years. Providing support to children, adolescents and their families.
