Joy of life is always accompanied by pain, and there are times that you feel beaten and defeated. Psychological symptoms can surface and compromise your happiness and functioning during these struggles. Therapy can help you to stay on the right track or find the right directions to minimize unnecessary sufferings.
The most recent wave of cognitive behavioral psychotherapy embraced the mindfulness from Buddhism. Neuroscientists have found that there are emotional and cognitive benefits of applying mindfulness in psychotherapy, education, and everyday settings. During years of my psychology and Buddhism practices, I found that the modern psychology provides numerous tools that are scientifically approved, and Buddhism provides theoretical frameworks of psychological pain and healing. I believed that using them together help me to become more efficient, proficient, and flexible with my clients. I offer traditional Psychotherapy, Mindful-life Consultation, and Behavioral Consultation.
