Professional statement

Natalie has experience working individually with adult clients from ages 18 to early 40s experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship issues, burnout, existential crises and phase of life issues. Natalie has a passion for working with college students and young professionals who are navigating life transitions and exploring their identity. Natalie empowers clients to live more intentionally and create meaningful change in their lives.

Natalie integrates an existential approach to assist clients in making meaning of their life and accepting inevitable anxieties that come with being human. Using reality therapy, Natalie will gently challenge you to explore how the choices you make can be impacting your ability to live as your most authentic self. Natalie also draws from a psychodynamic approach to help encourage deeper self-reflection and explore the purpose that recurring patterns serve in your life.

Natalie’s clinical experience began with a graduate school internship at a psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents. From there, Natalie continued working with adolescents and teenagers in an after-school community care setting while also stepping foot into private practice. Natalie quickly thrived in private practice work and continued on this path throughout the remainder of graduate school and after completion of her degree.

Natalie is only holding remote sessions for clients in New York at this time.

Message to clients

Hi! I’m glad you’re here. Whether you have specific goals for treatment or you just want a space for self-reflection, I invite you to reach out to discuss how you can benefit from starting (or re-starting) therapy. Let's work together to cultivate a space that meets your needs and encourages success inside and outside of the therapy hour.

My approach is collaborative, realistic, and challenging at times. From our first point of contact I will focus on building our therapeutic relationship and creating an environment where you feel safe enough to dig deep and create meaningful change. I welcome clients who are looking for both short and long term therapeutic work, and will tailor my approach as necessary.

Your comfort and safety are the utmost priorities throughout this journey. At the foundation of my work, I operate from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive lens and acknowledge how systems impact marginalized identities and communities. I strive to cultivate a warm and nonjudgmental space where people of all identities can feel safe and seen.
