Nathalie Badak began her counseling journey with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Following her passion for mental health, she became a registered Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapist, providing therapy in schools, homes, and private practices. Nathalie then advanced her studies at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado, where she earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. During her master’s program, she gained practical experience through clinical internships at various substance abuse treatment facilities, where she worked closely with individuals, their significant others, and families.

Nathalie’s therapeutic approach emphasizes self-esteem, stress management, empowerment, and effective communication. With a caring and nonjudgmental humanistic approach, she tailors her therapy to the unique needs of each client, utilizing her expertise in techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her holistic method is adaptable to people from diverse ages, cultures, and backgrounds. She has extensive experience supporting a wide range of populations, including children, adults, couples, families, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those dealing with substance misuse.
