Nefray Searight is a Licensed Associate Counselor working with the Virtual Counselors. Nefray completed her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and obtained a master’s degree from Liberty University in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has experience in outpatient and in-home settings, specifically working with children and families with the goal of family stabilization.
Nefray has worked with adults, children, couples and families helping them with issues of trauma, depression, adjustment disorders, self-esteem, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. Nefray specializes in working with married couples where she takes a collaborative approach in working with relationship issues, communication, anger, conflict in marriage, infidelity, forgiveness and reconciliation, money and finances, parenting, loss, addiction and stress management. Nefray works together with her clients to develop Intervention strategies through a broad range of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
Nefray particularly enjoy working with women as it relates to postpartum issues. She works with her clients to help decrease the stress of everyday life, encourages them to find personal time for self-care, and places emphasis on family support. When meeting with Nefray, she will listen carefully and provide effective coping skills and strategies to help her clients adjust to this new major transition to parenthood. Nefray provide an empathetic, genuine, non-judgmental and safe environment for her clients. Her goal in working with her clients is to explore difficulties, improve symptoms and enrich overall mental health.
