Master of Science, MS - Mental Health Counseling Licensed Professional Counselor, LPCNichole Price is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Trauma Treatment Specialist located in Kansas City, MO. Nichole specializes in working with young adults and adults who continue to have harmful emotional reactions to previous traumatic experiences, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. She also works with those who have survived spiritual and narcissistic abuse. Their trauma leads to Complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, and eating disorders. Nichole’s offers clients Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and brainspotting therapy, two evidence-based therapy modalities that can help clients to reduce their trauma symptoms. She also teaches clients techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), including effective coping and communication strategies. Clients also learn about attachment and work towards developing healthy attachment patterns in their relationships. Nichole’s goal is to help clients heal their minds so they can leave behind their old wounds and reach their mental health goals.
Nichole earned a Master’s degree from the University of Kansas. She has a certificate from EMDRIA and has over 10 years of experience offering EMDR. Clients leave sessions with Nichole feeling more balance in their lives, as they’re working towards the happiness and closure that they deserve.
