The world can be challenging, and everyday stressors can pile up making the day to day unmanageable. Our stressors can affect how we view the self and the world around us. I want to hear about your lived experience and support you through the pain and difficulties you are experiencing. Those difficulties could be anxious thoughts, distortions in our image, unresolved trauma, or others. Living with these challenges can be exhausting. We all deserve a break whether that is from the world or ourselves. Searching for a therapist means you’re ready to connect with yourself and ready to feel more engaged in the life you are living and I am here to support you.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy —a gentle, non-judgmental approach that helps identify your life worth living while attending to anxiety, low self-compassion, and navigating the suffering we experience. Together we'll help you identify what is important to you, increase self-awareness, and find acceptance. In our sessions, you’ll be the one setting the pace since you are the expert on yourself; we’ll go where you choose, at your pace, and I will be with you through it all.
I offer in person, virtual, or a hybrid for my therapy sessions. I am located at 331 Broadway Suite 301, Providence, RI 02909
