Nicole Benjamin(She/Her/Hers)

Dr. Nicole Benjamin PsyD, LCSW-R has experience working in the field of social work for over twenty-nine years, and a licensed social worker. Dr. Benjamin has worked with the underserved and disfranchised population in mental health, and has developed a sound clinical understanding of the population in which she served. Dr. Benjamin has the clinical skills and capabilities to provide appropriate clinical interventions, and was extensively trained in the modality of treatment Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. Dr. Benjamin has worked at various social service agencies, academic institutions, and healthcare facilities.

Dr. Benjamin possesses excellent administrative skills where she had the responsibility of restructuring and developing programs that lead to effective results that enhance the overall mental health services of the patients she served. Dr. Benjamin’s strong leadership skills allowed her to manage, train and supervise many social workers. Dr. Benjamin engaged a diverse student population and held the position of Clinical Professor, and taught graduate level students at Adelphi University and undergraduate students at York college for sixteen years. In addition, Dr. Benjamin received her Master of Social Work from Fordham University. Dr. Benjamin completed her doctoral degree from Touro University Worldwide in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Leadership.
