Oriana Murphy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Culver City who works with her clients from a relational and collaborative approach as an effort to navigate the challenges they are facing. Oriana’s clients come to her for a variety of reasons including mood challenges, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and maternal mental health.
Oriana has been working in the area of mental health for over 17 years in both the private and public sectors, and has gained experience that has allowed her to provide support to a variety of folks. She uses a combined style of attachment focused, EMDR, Brainspotting, sociometric techniques, harm reduction, and overall trauma-informed care to provide each of her clients the care they need throughout their therapeutic journey. Oriana does not believe in a “one size fits all” model and collaborates with each client to determine the appropriate course of action for therapy, always in support of what the client's goals are for the process.
Along with her private practice, Oriana has specialized in working in addiction treatment programs in Los Angeles and is passionate about recovery in all its forms, and in whatever that means for the folks she works with.
