Patricia has experience with clients from preschool age to senior citizens on issues like mood disorders, chronic pain, trauma, PTSD, stress, anger management, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting, grief, homelessness, and codependency.
Patricia's passion about mental health stems from her belief that mental health and experiences shape our identity and overall well-being. Learning to cope with uncomfortable emotions builds resilience, even when early emotional growth was stunted.
As an art therapist, Patricia utilizes a person-centered approach that blends art (sand tray, drawing, painting) with mindfulness, CBT, and/or play therapy techniques while providing a safe space for healing with the needs of her clients in mind. Art is a powerful tool to express experiences and foster healing. Patricia's specialties include trauma, chronic pain, and self-esteem, with the goal of helping you break through systemic constraints to discover your inner strength.
