Message to clients

Hello, thank you for reading my profile. Starting therapy for the first time or the 100th time can be challenging in many ways. Connecting with a therapist who "gets" you is important to the process. I have a warm, empathic style of working with the goal of creating a sense of freedom where you will feel heard and accepted. If you look to the world like you are doing great but you don't feel well or feel as if you are just surviving, that is a problem we can work on. I have treated a wide range of Mental Health issues and have particular expertise working with Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, especially Panic Disorder, as well as Depression, and Bipolar Disorder.

We can strive to understand what life circumstances and events are influencing your current state. We can include family and other relational issues and address any underlying triggers. I believe that symptoms may be helped by working through bodily interventions as well and may teach you powerful breath and grounding techniques that support your healing on a physical level.

I love the work I do and am awed by healing when I see it. I am excited to see happiness, calm and even joy blossom within a person as they develop their expertise at becoming, ultimately, their own therapist. One more thing: I hope to be back in an office soon, but will continue to keep remote sessions as an option.
