Professional statement

Life can sometimes be overwhelming, and it can be difficult to find inner peace and understanding in the midst of New York's hustle and bustle. That's why Patricia Valencia, a kind and supportive psychotherapist, is here to help. She truly sees the real you and is the therapist you want to turn to when it feels like your world is falling apart and you can't catch a break. Working with Patricia will help you find calmness, peace, and balance, increasing joy in your life. Her goal is to reduce the anxiety you may feel about the future, which can often be a constant source of stress.

Through personal and unique therapy sessions, Patricia will take the time to get to know you and make you feel heard. She'll ask about your dog, remember the name of your high school crush, and understand why you tear up every time you hear "Mr. Stark" at the end of "Infinity War." Her empathy and understanding will give you the space to reflect on how you experience love and life, explore your emotions and behaviors, and ultimately help you grow in ways that will change how you participate in the world around you.

On a warm day, you might find Patricia barefoot in the sunlight, listening to an audiobook, or indulging her love of Marvel, Harry Potter, and Star Wars and practicing what she preaches. Work together with Patricia to overcome your challenges and find the peace and happiness you deserve.
