Message to clients

The root of our problems first takes shape in our minds. How we interpret them and how we choose to act on our problems can be influenced by our thoughts, beliefs, and the stories we tell ourselves. I believe that all forms of help ultimately lead to self-help. However, there can be a need for guidance and for someone to see perspectives that we don't always see in ourselves. This is how therapy can be impactful. Therapy is also a sacred space, and I'm interested in cultivating a comfortable and safe place to discuss challenging matters. In this space, your story deserves its respect and dignity. Trust is at the helm of a healthy therapeutic relationship, and it is my responsibility to earn your trust.

I'm often seen as an optimist, but not a foolish one. I'm rooted in practicality with a deep sense of compassion and patience. I'm here to offer support, a lending ear, a non-judgmental space, and I especially offer hope. However, sitting on good ideas is not enough. Decisive action must occur to see the change you'd like to see.

Sometimes mental health is perceived as complex and layered. I do not doubt that. My role is to identify the negative patterns, streamline the issues, and remove things that impede you from having a better quality of life. I'm here to facilitate change, and I'm here to help.
