Professional statement

Payal Sud is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Chicago, IL who enjoys working with clients of all ages, including children, teenagers, young adults, and adults. She holds sessions with individuals, couples, and families who would like to enhance their wellbeing by focusing on their mental health. Many of her clients begin therapy because they would like to improve their anxiety or depression, or because their relationships are causing high levels of stress.

Payal’s approach to therapy begins by showing clients that they aren’t alone in their experiences and that they have her steadfast support. Through sessions with Payal, clients identify what’s causing them distress and take steps to alleviating those triggers. They also learn how to embrace their innate resilience to overcome obstacles, leaving therapy feeling empowered and balanced. In addition to several therapy modalities, Payal also practices Pranic Reiki healing and vibrational sound massages.

Payal earned a Master’s degree in Social Work. She collaborates with her clients, especially when coming up with an individualized plan for therapy sessions. It’s important to her that clients gain from therapy the skills they need to improve their connections with others to live happy, healthy lives.
