Therapy is most powerful when there is respect, honesty, and acceptance as you and your therapist can explore your strengths and challenges together. Peter is committed to providing a space each session where you feel you can process and express yourself freely without fear of judgment.
Coming from a background in religious studies and philosophy, Peter's approach to therapy focuses on trust and unconditional acceptance. The therapeutic experience includes exploring the ways you create and define meaning in your life and how you can find a sense of belonging in the world.
Peter's style is client-centered and exploratory, meaning that you will help direct the process. He may integrate approaches like CBT and mindfulness exercises as tools to improve self-awareness and grounding in the present moment. Examining the relationship between your thoughts, emotions and behavioral patterns will help guide your work together in order to cultivate healing and change.
Peter's goal is to join you in building a shared vision of restorative growth and a sense of belonging and connectedness in the world.
