She/Her/Hers
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFTShe/Her/Hers
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFTRachel Braun is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. She specializes in working with clients who are looking to better manage anxiety, gain more self confidence, work through codependency patterns, and navigate through life's transitions.
Rachel primarily utilizes psychodynamic and relational therapies to connect on a human level while also exploring and questioning what thoughts, beliefs, and patterns are working for you or working against you. Rachel has vast experience in helping to create boundaries and learning how and when to put yourself and your needs before the needs of others. In some cases, we've been learning these negative patterns for our entire lives, and in working together, we can unlearn and retrain ourselves to think better thoughts about ourselves and gain more confidence to put ourselves first.
Rachel's clients describe her as being trusting, warm, empathetic, non-judgemental and easy to talk to. Rachel has worked in a variety of settings with clients of diverse backgrounds and goals. Rachel has continued to work as a trauma-informed clinician and has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to aid working with trauma.
Rachel is currently providing exclusively telehealth therapy. The Covid-19 Pandemic has changed the ways folks are able to interact and connect, and there is such a gift about being able to connect, learn, and grow in a therapy session all in the comfort of one's own home.
