Message to clients

I understand that seeking out therapy can be both a comforting and intimidating prospect, and I commend individuals who reach out for help. Whether you are looking to address a specific problem, or are in search of someone to assist you in gaining a greater insight into yourself, therapy can be hugely beneficial. Perhaps you are dealing with a difficult time in your life and need help managing the emotions and thoughts that come along with that. I aim to assist individuals in better understanding the relationship between their feelings and thoughts and explore ways to change maladaptive patterns.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. I have experience working with a wide variety of client concerns, including substance misuse, depression, anxiety and relationship conflict. I value a collaborative relationship with my clients and draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques, including CBT and mindfulness-based practices.
I am an empathic and compassionate counselor who believes that an open and non-judgmental environment is vital for beneficial therapy. Often, it is not until we are able to communicate our struggles and needs to another person that we are able to understand them better ourselves. I hope that I am able do that for you.
