Professional statement

Do you and your partner have the same fights over and over again? Do you talk in circles and feel like your partner still doesn’t understand you? Has the romance and intimacy in your relationship been replaced with frustration and distance? I want to help you begin the healing process so you can repair and reinvent your relationship.

My name is Rachel Wachtel and I have over 22 years of experience as a couples therapist. I’m trained in Imago therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, CBT, and meditation. My experience and these therapy approaches will help you and your partner communicate better, develop trust and intimacy, and build a future of happiness together.

I have extensive experience working with high conflict couples. This includes couples with addictions, blended families and couples recovering from affairs. I actively engage with my clients during sessions, giving guidance and feedback to help you grow. This helps them learn how to process and talk about sensitive topics and issues together.

If you connected with anything I mentioned in this video, please reach out to me and let’s schedule a call.

Message to clients

I have over two decades of experience as a individual and couple's therapist, working with hundreds of clients who have learned how to communicate and develop more intimate and fulfilling relationships.

In a completely non-judgmental environment, I will help you work through relationship challenges by growing more conscious of your issues so you can have more fulfilling and intimate relationships. I am interactive and like to give my clients feedback. I help you to explore those troubled aspects of your life, while offering you the best treatment approach possible. In an atmosphere that promotes self-acceptance, understanding and trust, you will be able to explore and eliminate those conflicts that get in your way so that you can feel better and finally reach your goals.

I believe that together, with the right tools, we can work through anything, and help you move towards a future in which you experience more confidence, joy and live your best life.
