Professional statement

Rachel Tombari is a licensed professional counselor in Summit, NJ. She specializes in mothers and transition to parenthood, relationships, and working through trauma/traumatic experiences.

Rachel loves to work with clients who are active and ready to be open. We can work through past trauma or focus on the here and now with CBT techniques. My focus is on relationships, be it the parent-child, spousal, friendships, or coworkers. I love working with moms through the transition to motherhood to help them reduce “mom guilt” and reclaim themselves.

Rachel has experience working in community mental health, within the foster care system, and withextensive trauma. This experience has provided her with an openness and nonjudgmental approach.
