Rajitha Pillai, (Raji) is a Licensed Associate Counselor with more than 13 years of experience in the mental health field, inclusive of experiences from India and in the US. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. Raji is a Clinical Psychologist, REBT Therapist and Hypnotherapist from India. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology and also has a Postgraduate diploma in Clinical and Community Psychology from India. She has worked in various settings including schools, hospitals and organizations in India. Professionally she has gained experience working with children, adults and families with a wide range of mental health and behavioral issues. Raji specializes in REBT therapy and uses Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, CBT techniques, ACT, Mindfulness, Play and Music therapy for her approaches. She is always interested in understanding human behavior and enjoys working with people - listening to them, their opinions, and knowing their perspective of life. She pursued this career path as she discovered it to be her passion - to make a positive difference in the lives of others. She believes in holistic healing thereby bringing out the feeling of what we all desire: ‘A life worth living’. Raji likes to spend time with her husband traveling, watching movies, talking to her friends and being in nature. I have worked with clients who have struggled with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Grief, Couples, Parental issues, and other mental health issues with an age range from young children to adults, families and couples. I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches that include CBT, REBT, DBT, SFBT, and MI.
