Professional statement

Rebecca Eudy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the West End in Boston, MA who works with college students, adults, and couples, and specializes in prenatal/postpartum issues, parenting, relationships, and anxiety. She also enjoys working with individuals who are navigating stress that is interfering with their daily lives or going through a major life transition, including childbirth, divorce, a new job, the loss of a loved one, college graduation, or a breakup.

Rebecca takes a client-centered approach and utilizes a number of different therapy modalities, including positive psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), exposure techniques, and mindfulness practices. She develops an individualized treatment plan that takes into account what the client is open to, their goals, and what issues they want to focus on. She helps them feel more in control over their symptoms, reframe their thoughts and experiences, and feel empowered to take control of their stories.

Rebecca frequently utilizes humor to help her clients feel more comfortable. She also focuses on helping her clients take a past experience and make meaning out of it. Before opening her private practice, she worked at a partial hospitalization program, taught at Lesley University, and was a school counselor at both a middle school and university. Her office is conveniently located near north station.
