Rebecca Eudy, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, specializes in relationship therapy. Her expertise enables her to address various social and emotional challenges, such as parenting and perinatal mental health, sex and intimacy issues, and relationship conflicts.

In her work with couples, Rebecca primarily uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment based method recommended by the American Psychological Organization, to increase relationship connection and understanding. She also helps couples also work on communication skills, conflict resolution, and boosting intimacy and attachment. Many clients seek her help for sexual difficulties and dissatisfaction, gaining insights into their identities and how it impacts their relationships.

Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, along with certifications in perinatal mental health, sex therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She has extensive training in Terry Real's RLT and the Gottman Method, and she remains deeply engaged in her ongoing learning within the field of therapy. Rebecca's warm and engaging style often incorporates humor, and she welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds and identities. She is affirming of the LGBTQIA+ and kink communities, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals.

Message to clients

Taking the first step toward therapy can be intimidating, often taking months or even years to muster the courage. Finding a therapist who offers a non-judgmental listening ear and helps you derive meaning from your experiences can bring profound relief and transformation. In my approach, I blend warmth and authenticity with direct honesty, actively participating in sessions to help clients obtain the changes they desire. I frequently encourage clients to reconsider assumptions and behaviors from different angles, usually their partner's!

I provide flexible session options, offering weekly or biweekly sessions lasting 50 or 80 minutes, as well as couples intensives. Ongoing weekly sessions suit couples seeking to address persistent issues and make lasting behavioral changes over time. These sessions are especially valuable for maintaining progress following a couple's intensive.

The couple's intensive format is designed for accelerated progress, making it ideal for couples in crisis, individuals with busy schedules, or those aiming to jumpstart their therapeutic journey by tackling challenging issues head-on. If you're unsure about the best format for you and your relationship, please reach out, and I'll help you make an informed decision.
