Message to clients

It can be hard to find a good therapist. Many therapists focus so much on helping you feel heard and understood that they don't take the risk of trying to help you feel better. I believe both are critical.

If you are looking for a compassionate and relatable therapist I may be what you're looking for. If you are looking for someone with extensive experience and a professional but genuine style, I may be what you're looking for. If you're struggled with feeling like therapy was usually in the past and the "all my therapist did was listen", I may be what you're looking for.

All good therapy operates from a base of empathy, understanding, acceptance, and support. But the path to actually feeling better (or getting better results) almost always involves making changes. We can change how we think about ourself and make sense of the world in which we live. Or, we can change what we do, how we live, and how we interact with the world. Sometimes, often, we need to do both.

Please contact me if you'd like to discuss your case and what you're looking for from therapy. I will be delighted to set up a brief phone discussion with you to help us decide if I might be a good fit for your needs.
