Dr. Robinson is a board-certified in Clinical Psychologist who has been providing evidence-based therapies for over 15 years. He operates a small private practice in the uptown area of Dallas, TX where he sees patients in-person. He also sees patients from 39 other states via video through the PSYPACT Commission’s Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology.
Prior to opening his private practice in 2024, he has had a distinguished career as a psychotherapist and clinical leader at the Dallas VA (where he served as Assistant Chief of Psychology) and then UT Southwestern Medical Center (as Director of Psychology Services and Associate Professor in the Dept of Psychiatry).
Dr. Robinson has extensive expertise in the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders (such as major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder), PTSD, OCD, college and adjustment issues, and substance use disorders. He specializes in the treatment of patients with treatment-resistant conditions and/or patients that have had unsatisfactory experiences in prior therapy. He is passionate about helping his patients to develop and use skills that can allow them to achieve sustainable recovery and independence.
