Professional statement

Regula is a Licensed Social Worker in Minneapolis and Switzerland. Many of Regula’s clients come in when facing relationships challenges, trauma, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Parenting Issues, and Self-Esteem Issues. Regula is particularly passionate about serving women. She has an advanced training in the area of holistic body- mind centered psychotherapies.

Regula cares deeply about other people going through emotional pain because that was once her experience too. She has learned how to meet inner distress – hers and others’ – with compassionate listening and healing approaches that resolve the pain. She has become highly skilled in helping others bridge the body-mind connection through mindfulness and befriending the body. She offers holistic, compassionate care to people dealing with anxiety and fears that leave them feeling alienated, trapped, or misunderstood.

Her empathic, warm and grounded nature engenders an experience of safety and freedom that allows women into a deeper awareness of their emotional wounds. They find their pathway to gently heal these wounds through drawing on the wisdom of their own body, mind and spirit. With Regula’s support, women deepen their ability to claim and sustain their inner strength, take action with a relaxed confidence, and make choices that are consistently in their own best interests.

Regula draws on a wealth of training that goes beyond a master’s degree in social work to include body-mind centered therapies, such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Pesso-Boyden Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness studies with the renowned Buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hanh.

Regula lives and works in both the United States and Switzerland (her home country). Her therapy work with individuals is currently done remotely. Clients can schedule individual sessions or sign up for more comprehensive two-month or five-month healing pathways

Message to clients

I’m here to listen to your story and to walk beside you on your path to healing. Since I was quite young, people always felt comfortable coming to me with their problems. I’m a listener and an encourager -- someone who brings out and appreciates the best in others.

I am always in awe at the miracle of each woman’s life, the courage and creativity that I see in the women who come to me. You may feel unclear or anxious when we first meet. Before long though, we’ll uncover together the hidden wisdom within you that’s ready to free you from what’s holding you back. I’m here to help you deepen the trust you have in yourself.

Imagine yourself awakening each day filled with a sense of contentment, clarity and confidence.

Imagine feeling at home in your body when you see yourself in the mirror, with no sense of shame or regret.

Imagine having the comfort of being fully self-expressed, safe and understood in your relationships.

Whatever good you imagine for yourself, I’m here to walk with you so you bring it to life. Let’s find out together the true story of you as innately resilient and whole.
