Renita uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which provides each client the opportunity to understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors intertwine so they can begin to make next steps. She strives to help clients understand responses are connected to events that either formed rational or irrational thoughts; and some of these thoughts were formed from childhood. Having a better understanding of this process provides a new outlook on past, current, and future decisions.
Renita has worked in the social services industry for more than 25 years, volunteered 22 years in prisons which include focuses on relationship, self-esteem, and ministry issues. This diverse experience allows Renita to have a better understanding of life and the sensitive nature of each client and their needs. Renita is direct, sensitive, kind, and able to communicate with you with no judgement to ensure each client feels as if they are heard.
