Riley Mailhot is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and member of the group practice East Cost Mental Wellness in Providence, RI. They specialize in supporting individuals as they navigate, question, or transition in their gender and sexual identities. Riley also welcomes couples of all identities and relationship structures into their practice.
Riley provides a safe space to help clients explore how their unique identities influence their relationships and self-understanding. Riley uses evidence-based treatment approaches to provide clients with highly individualized, goal-oriented care. Using skill-building approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, they collaborate with their clients to understand how the past plays a role in their present and future.
Riley has been working with the LGBTQIA community and HIV+ population for over a decade, with notable experience working with trans youth and couples navigating the impact of a partner's substance use on the relationship. They received their Master’s in Social Work from Rhode Island College, and currently offer sessions for individual adults, adolescents, families, and groups.
