As of May, I have immediate openings. I'm an easygoing and results-oriented therapist who prioritizes open-minded collaboration. Our sessions combine your unique goals and preferences – especially for past-, present-, or future-oriented therapy – with research-proven treatments. These include CBT, SFT, classic psychodynamic therapy, improving commonly overlooked mental health foundations, and others, always applied holistically and non-dogmatically. We aim to not only explore and understand your problems but also take action, create real change, and leave you well-prepared to prevent backsliding.
Your self-sufficiency is the ultimate goal! Most people “graduate” from my weekly 50-minute sessions within 3-8 months. This said, some challenges need more time and plenty of people see me for ongoing help, often at a reduced frequency. A bit about me: While Washington, DC is my hometown, I also lived abroad for four years. After working in several fields, I've been a therapist since 2017. Getting outside, travel, and spending time with good company are my favorite things. I hold a BA magna cum laude in psychology from Duke University and master's degrees from Johns Hopkins SAIS and USC.
