Robin Cullen is a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Kenosha, WI. Robin has over 30 years of experience working with children, parents, and families. She enjoys working with adults who feel overwhelmed with the responsibility of parenthood, especially when their children demonstrate behavioral issues. Many of her clients have high levels of self-judgment that hold them back from feeling confident, especially when it comes to their relationships. She also supports individuals, couples, and families that face the impacts of anxiety and depression.
Robin copyrighted her therapeutic framework, which she created with her extensive experience working with clients. She draws from various evidence-based therapy modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based therapy practices. She teaches clients how to regulate their emotions so that they have the tools they need to feel in control in moments of distress. This is especially helpful for clients who struggle with postpartum depression, are single mothers, or face elevated stress in the workplace.
Robin earned a Master’s degree from Northern Illinois University. She offers therapy in sign language and is a strong ally to the deaf community. She previously worked in the school system helping students learn about their emotions. She is passionate about helping parents set goals for their mental health and work towards these goals with intention.
