Professional statement

Robyn Isman is Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker offering remote video therapy and in-person sessions in Needham, MA. She welcomes a wide range of adults and adolescents, age 12 and over, and is an expert in anxiety treatment. She helps clients to tackle difficult thought patterns, understand their root cause, and build the practical coping skills to mindfully manage stressful moments.

In addition to her work with anxiety, Robyn also supports clients navigating relationships, depression, grief and loss, and the processing of childhood trauma. She is highly skilled at navigating complex dynamics in parenting dyads, between parents and adolescents, and examining patterns formed in the family of origin.

Robyn uses a two-pronged approach that gives clients the space to openly share challenges and build upon strengths, while also taking concrete steps toward change. She often incorporates mindfulness skills to increase presence and awareness in daily life.

Robyn is excited to help new clients nurture a stronger sense of self in her private practice, a five-minute drive from Babson college and easily accessible from the Needham Heights station.
