Rowan O'Leary is a Licensed Master Social Worker who graduated from New York University. Rowan utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to best suit his clients and combines psychoanalysis, evidence-based practices with harm reduction as needed.
Rowan has experience working with individuals, couples and families who struggle with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, complex PTSD and interpersonal/relationship issues. Rowan particularity enjoys working with clients in the LGBTQ community who experience relationship and gender identity issues and challenges related to sexual exploration (I.e. open-relationships, polyamory). Rowan provides trauma-informed care and carefully explores systemic trauma, providing psychoeducation and advocacy on a community level.
In his work with couples, Rowan explores communication patterns and uses a strength-based, solution-focused approach to help couples improve the quality of their relationship. Rowan is described as intuitive and empathic and works collaboratively with his clients to find an approach that works for them.
