Message to clients

When looking for a therapist, it is important to find someone that listens to you and validates your experience. In order for therapy to work, you need to feel safe and trust your therapist and for safety to be established, you need to know your therapist understands your story.

It is also important to know why you’re seeking therapy. You may want to ask yourself, “What do I want to know about myself?” This question is important as you will be more aware of your areas of growth, a.k.a, increase brain plasticity.

Conditions that help increase the brain plasticity:

-therapeutic environment

-safe environment

-increased brain function

-mutual trust

Neuroplasticity helps you feel safe to learn!

I hope this helps your journey in finding the right therapist for you.
